Mussel season is coming

The mussel season starts in July and ends mid-April. Once regarded as the poor relation of the shellfish family because of their small size and relative abundance, they are now very popular.

The most common are the European mussels which have sleek, shiny shells and tender, nutritious flesh; at L’Esprit de Sel Brasserie we serve traditional pots of mussels cooked in a variety of sauces with a serving of chips.
